Definition
The attribution window is the period after someone sees or clicks an ad during which a conversion is credited to that ad. Meta's common default is 7-day click and 1-day view.
Attribution window explained
Shorter windows report fewer conversions, longer windows report more. Always compare results using the same window, and cross-check with your store data.
Example
A purchase made 5 days after clicking an ad is counted under a 7-day click window.
