Media Ads Library (we, us) operates mediaadslibrary.com, a research tool for public Facebook and Instagram advertising data. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how you can control it.
Information we collect
- Account information such as your name, email address and profile photo when you sign up with Google or an email link
- Usage information such as searches, saved ads, boards, tracked brands and feature usage counts
- Payment information handled by our payment providers, we receive confirmation of payments and subscription status but never your full card details
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information and cookies needed to keep you signed in
- Messages you send to support
Advertising data in the library
The ads shown in Media Ads Library come from the public Meta Ad Library. They include advertiser page names and ad content that advertisers chose to publish. We do not collect personal data about people who saw those ads.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the service
- To apply plan limits and process payments
- To send transactional emails such as sign-in links and receipts
- To notify you about new ads from brands you track, if you use that feature
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
AI features
When you use AI tools, the text you submit is sent to our AI service providers to generate a response. Do not submit confidential or personal information in AI prompts.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the service, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing (Razorpay and PayPal) and AI providers, and only as needed to provide their services. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account from the settings page, we delete your profile, saved ads, boards and tracked brands. Some records, such as payment records, may be kept where the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information and to object to certain processing. You can update your profile and delete your account in settings, or contact us for any other request.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a secure email account for sign-in.
Children
The service is not intended for people under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
