i stayed stuck in the “skinny fat” phase for so long thinking i just needed to eat less 🥲 what actually made the biggest difference was shifting my focus from restriction → to building, supporting, and properly nourishing my body! as a south asian girl, i feel like we’re often taught to shrink ourselves, eat less, and just push through… even when it’s not actually working for our bodies if you’ve felt this way too, i hope this gives you a different perspective and helps you feel a little less confused about your body 💗

following an anti-inflammatory changed the game for me when it came to changing my body composition BUT also helped me so much with bloating and overall inflammation! 🥲 it doesn’t need to be complicated at all. I don’t really “meal prep meals” anymore. I just prep a few things each week like proteins, rice, cooked veggies, chickpea salad or egg bites so I can mix things together easily depending on what I feel like It keeps everything simple and stops me from overthinking food I also still follow the 80/20 rule and eat foods I enjoy. I’ve found that’s what actually makes it sustainable for me long term ✨
