Definition
MER, also called blended ROAS, is total revenue divided by total marketing spend. It measures overall efficiency regardless of attribution.
MER explained
Because it uses store revenue rather than platform-reported conversions, MER is a useful reality check on Meta's reported ROAS.
Formula
MER = total revenue รท total marketing spend
Example
A store makes 100,000 dollars in a month and spends 25,000 dollars on marketing, a MER of 4.
