What is Learning phase?

Definition

The learning phase is the period when Meta explores how best to deliver a new or significantly edited ad set. Performance is often unstable during it.

Learning phase explained

Meta generally aims for around 50 optimisation events within a week to exit learning. Frequent edits can reset it, so avoid unnecessary changes early on.

Example

A new ad set shows Learning in Ads Manager until it records enough purchases.
