🧐 So my research to treat the downward smile (jowls) had gone on for months and here is my conclusion (this is at no expense to any other aesthetician, just my personal experience) Lower Face Filler - My take on filler around the smile lines and jowls… We have fat pads that would eventually droop due to gravity, so my thoughts on adding filler to the middle of lower face would just add more weight and add to the droop ☹️. Not to mention eventual migration which may lead to the “puffy face” which we see in many celebrities 😫 Sculptra - Although I’ve heard great things about this treatment as a bio-stimulator, it boosts collagen production and adds plumpness, however it is a real slow burner (sometimes 3/4 months to see results) and can work out quite expensive depending on how many vials you need 🤯 Fat Dissolving injections - I tried this too, turns out I didn’t have fat, it was just muscle laxity 🤦♀️ Then eventually I had to bite the bullet and try lower face tox!!! 💉 I did this treatment 4 weeks ago and honestly say I absolutely love the results! 😁 However it doesn’t come without a few buts… Here’s what to be prepared for as the lower face muscles had been relaxed I can’t chomp my food as quick as I usually do, not a bad thing I guess! 😂 After the 2 week full results time, it took me around a week to get use to facial movements 🥴 However !!! I’m now not worrying about how to angle my face for pictures as my jawline is significantly more snatched and I’m not contouring 😍 My resting bit*h face isn’t as prominent as before and I’ve manage to stall that clinic visit for a facelift!
