However, we parked on top of "Nordre Spro vei" and followed the "midlertidig kyststi" for a bit more hiking - still super short. The mine itself is a narrow tunnel stretching about 30 meters into the rock, ending in a mighty chamber. The walls shimmer with Kråkesølv - or muscovite, as geologists call it - glittering in the sunlight. We were covered, and our house had sparkling traces of it for days after! Tips: Bring rubber or Gore-Tex boots, magnifying glass, jars for collecting treasures, and flashlight/headlamp.
