Based on the uploaded book Oil, Gas, and Mining: A Sourcebook for Understanding the Extractive Industries. What if one bad resource decision could cost millions — or even an entire country’s opportunity for growth? Oil, gas, and mining projects are not just about extraction. They are about contracts, regulation, taxation, revenue management, governance, sustainability, and long-term value creation. This book is made for mining executives, oil & gas professionals, investors, board members, government officials, policy makers, regulators, consultants, lawyers, and ESG professionals who want to understand how extractive industries really work — beyond the technical side. Inside Oil, Gas, and Mining, you’ll discover how to avoid the common mistakes that damage resource projects: weak contracts, poor fiscal design, lack of transparency, revenue mismanagement, environmental risk, community conflict, and short-term thinking. You’ll learn how successful countries and companies structure smarter policies, negotiate better agreements, manage resource revenues, protect communities, and turn natural resource wealth into sustainable development. Whether you work in mining finance, government policy, resource investment, project development, or extractive industry strategy, this book gives you the big-picture framework to make better decisions with confidence. Sample reader testimonial: “An essential guide for anyone who wants to understand the business, policy, and governance side of oil, gas, and mining. It connects the dots in a way most technical books don’t.” Get your copy today and start seeing extractive industries through a strategic, professional, and decision-maker’s lens. 👉🏼 https://chidomining.com/product/oil-gas-and-mining-a-sourcebook-for-understanding-the-extractive-industries/ #OilAndGas #MiningIndustry #ExtractiveIndustries #ResourceGovernance #MiningInvestment

𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒓𝒐 𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊 𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑴𝑰𝑻 Nel 2022 Crystal E. Owens, Max R. Fan, A. John Hart e Gareth H. McKinley, del Department of Mechanical Engineering del MIT, hanno pubblicato su Physics of Fluids un articolo intitolato “On Oreology, the fracture and flow of “milk’s favorite cookie”.
